After looking at the websites from the Holocaust and from looking at the pictures, it made showed me what it was like and what people had to go through, and what people had to give up and leave behind in order for them to survive. The website that had the pictures were very sad to look at, the conditions were horrible, and also everything looked scary, in a way, because of how it looked, for example, one of the pictures was a fence around the camp that had barbed wire around it. Another picture to me seemed painful. That picture was the one that was of the wooden shoes the girls wore. The caption at the bottom of the page said something about how the shoes would mess up your feet and leave huge open cuts and eventually it was hard to walk in them. Also, all the other websites also made me realize that you have to have trust in yourslef and that you need to believe in yourself even through hard times like war.
